To develop by theoretical and practical training operating skills and knowledge to the standard required to meet the Code of Practice agreed between the Health & Safety Executive and I.T.S.S.A.R. (the Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register). A certificate of competence is awarded to successful candidates.

5 Day Basic Operator Course

To teach the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators of counterbalance and reach truck, to delegates with limited or no previous experience on rider operated trucks.

To teach the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators of counterbalance and reach truck, to operators who through experienced, have received no previous formal training.

1 Day Basic Operator Refresher Course

To refresh the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators of counterbalance and reach truck, to operators who require refresher training.

​A minimum of three years experience is required to warrant refresher training. Prior to training taking place we will require either a copy of a previous Certificate or a signed statement confirming that the operators are competent drivers who drive on a regular basis.
